Mission

The Global Health and Humanitarian Summit is an annual cross-disciplinary festive conference gathering of humanitarians from all over the world to share and discuss with others what they do as humanitarians. The summit will be hosted on the second weekend of April (4/13 – 4/15) of 2012 at Emory University. This will be the third consecutive year that this event has been hosted at Emory. This is a global event where people from all over the world can come to share their knowledge, information, and ideas. The Global Health and Humanitarian Summit engages Emory University’s College, The Rollins School of Public Health, and The School of Medicine with movers and shakers from the public and private sector of the greater Atlanta area, the United States, and the world, alongside a vast assortment of globally represented NGO’s, to foster and facilitate open dialogue aimed at promoting a synthesis of student ideas and active humanitarianism across diverse disciplines and professions. The Global Health and Humanitarian Summit aims to forge a blueprint to make change a reality in every community.
